Hopkinton Municipal Swimming Pool

 The pool has closed for the season. 



** In 2012, The Foundation for the Future of Delaware     

   County awarded the City of Hopkinton $3,500 to

   purchase a mesh umbrella for the pool.  The umbrella 

   will be installed for the 2013 pool season.

 ** The Foundation for the Future of Delaware County and Dubuque Racing Association has awarded the City of Hopkinton $5,000 each to renovate the pool, making it a zero depth entrance pool.  Project is set to begin after the pool closes for the 2013 season. 


    Monday- Sunday: 1-5:00 p.m. & 6-8:00 p.m.

    *unless posted differently* 



    $3.00 6 & older during the day

    $2.00 for evening admission

    $1.00 5 & under with a paying adult (12 years or older) 


Season Tickets:  

    $25.00    children 5 & under   

    $40.00    single pass

    $100.00  family pass


Swim Lessons:

    Red Cross Lessons: June 15-26th Cost $35.00

    Private Lessons consist of ½ hour daily sessions for one week.  They can be scheduled anytime 

    throughout the pool season.  Sign up with an available lifeguard to fit your schedule.  Cost: $50.00


Adult Swimming:

    Mondays, June 15 - August 10th from 8-9:00 p.m.  Cost: $25.00

    Minimum of six (6) adults must sign up to offer this swim.  A minimum of five (5) adults must

    attend for the pool to remain open.  If there are less than 5, the pool will close.


Pool Parties:

    Pool parties are available.  Cost: $60.00


Opening day, people can register for swim lessons, adult swimming, & purchase season tickets by stopping at the pool or call 926-2433. 


Kick-Out Policy:  

    1st offense – Out for the rest of the day and the following day.

    2nd offense – Out for one week.  Parents will be notified of 2nd offense.

    3rd offense – Individual is kicked out for the rest of the summer.

*Temperature outside must be at least 70 degrees for the pool to open.

*During inclement weather, kids must be picked up immediately.  The Lifeguards

are not responsible for bringing your child (ren) home.

*Minimum number is five (5) swimmers for the pool to remain open.  If there are

less than 5, the pool will close.
